I design and produce wedding stationery in Liverpool and Merseyside for couples who want something thoughtful, well-made, and alternative. Whether you’re planning a chic and relaxed registry office ceremony, or a full on festival-style weekend wedding celebration, I can help you tie everything together in a way that feels personal.

Stationery manufacture
Design is only half of the job. How your stationery feels is just as important.
As well as designing I also offer in-house stationery manufacture. Find out more about my services here.
When I can, I print and cut everything by hand. I'm a little bit of a control freak when it comes to the quality of my designs, and I’ve decided that’s not a bad thing! When I do use other businesses to bring your vision to life, I keep it local, and only work with trusted suppliers.
Here’s a snippet of what I offer:
High quality card stocks with gorgeous colour depth and texture
Foil printing for subtle shine or bold details
Embossed printing for luxury feel
Alternative materials! Stationery doesn’t have to be paper, think acrylic table numbers, embroidered napkin place cards, vinyl record seating charts. It’s your wedding, make it personal.

Graphic design
Not every couple wants everything printed, and that’s fine! If you’re environmentally conscious digital invitations are a great option to share with your friends and family.
I also offer graphic design services for small local businesses. If you need flyers, leaflets, posters, or even physical items like keychains and signage, please get in touch!
Who am I?
(the ginger one, in case you hadn’t guessed)
I’m Lucy. I’m a wedding and event designer, working from my studio in Liverpool.
I started Submarine Studios after designing my own wedding, and found it almost impossible to find vendors that matched my style. I DIY’d everything except the food and flowers, I even made my own wedding dresses and all of the bridesmaids outfits too!
I also work as a designer for theatre, film, and TV. I love using my skills when it comes to wedding and event design, and working with my favourite vendors to make designs come to life.
Designing my own wedding inspired me to finally take the leap and go full time as a designer. Designing for weddings is an absolute joy and allows me to create a truly unforgettable experience. Every couple brings their own vibe and experiences, which makes for a wide variety of beautiful designs!
